The Goulds Water Technology HSJ Convertible Multi-StageJet Pumpseries is designed to deliver high capacities at greater pressures in either shallow well or deep well applications (with appropriate Goulds Water Technology fittings) in homes, farms, cottages, and various booster service systems. HSJ Convertible Multi-Stage pumps are easy to service as they can be taken apart by removing four bolts.
HSJ Convertible Jet Pumps also feature a stainless steel pump shaft with hex design for positive impeller drive and the elimination of clearance adjustments. The components are corrosion resistant, including the glass filled thermoplastic impellers, stainless steel wear rings, and stainless steel coverplates. Electrocoat paint is applied to the interior and exterior of the pump and baked on. These pumps are powered for continuous operation within the motor's recommended working limits.
The basic pump unit includes the pump, motor, pressure switch, tubing, fittings, pressure gauge, and bushing. The shallow well package includes the adapter, nozzle, venturi, bolts, gasket, and pipe plugs. The twin pipe deep well package includes the jet body, nozzle, venturi, and foot valve. The Packer system includes the jet body with built-in check valve, nozzle, and venturi.
Both deep well systems require a pressure control valve such as anAV22KITorAV22with aJDWtubing kit; the Packer system, in particular, requires a well casing adapter (AWJ2for 2") and tuned coupling 64655 orAWCJ3(3").
