The Pro Series 1730 is designed to support a main AC sump pump and will pump up to 1730 GPH at a 10-foot lift any time the float switch is activated by rising water. As with their other models, the engineers at PHCC/Glentronics have made allowances for every possible scenario and the 1730 is reinforced in every conceivable way.
Power outage and float switch failure are the two main reasons why sump pumps fail and cause flooding. Consequently, the system is designed to run on a powerful Pro Series 2200 Standby Battery which provides 7.5 hours continuous running time. In addition, it features not only one float switch but two!
